If you go to www.google.com/maps/ and enter your address, it will take you to a map of your property on Google Maps. Then click on "Layers" and choose "Satellite" (lower left corner). Use your mouse wheel to zoom in close to your property. Right click on the map with your mouse and choose "Measure Distance". Then click around the perimeter of your property, excluding your house and driveway. A pop up box at the bottom of the page should give you the area of your lawn after you've connected the perimeter. Enter this for the square foot of your lawn. If you need to start over, right click again and choose "Clear Measurement".
